Gospel-Driven
Everyone is “driven” by something or someone; an idea, a person, a thing. To be blunt, being driven in what we are talking about is to ascribe to said idea, person or thing: “this is what I’ll wake up early in the morning for.”
The Gospel is not an area we can move away from. Our growth is made possible by the Gospel and as we grow in our understanding of the Gospel, its greatness, and its implications to our lives, we will grow in the likeness of Jesus Christ.
In recent days, people have called the church back to the centrality and primacy of the Gospel, for its saving- growing work.
To be Gospel-driven is wanting to spread the Gospel to people and places near and far AND to seek to have continual life-alignment and church life-alignment around the Gospel.
