Bev Moore

Who I am: My name is Beverley Wilson Moore; married to Lionel.  Lionel’s Mom, Robbie, lives in the area and attends Southway with us.  My son, Michael David, lives right here in the area as well along with his wife, Lisa Marie, and their two children, my grandchildren, Zachery and Teaghan.

What I do here at Southway: I assist Linda Greeson with office responsibilities and work with the other staff as requested.

My Favorites:
-Food: Like any red-bloodied American woman I enjoy really, really good chocolate. . . and pizza – not necessarily together.
-Movie: There are so many great movies to choose from it is hard to pick just one.  Among the many “The Passion of the Christ” because it helps me to grasp what our Lord went through on our behalf; the “Matrix” trilogy because I am a true nerd at heart; and “Gone with the Wind” because of my Southern heritage.  Most recently I have really enjoyed the new technology of “Avatar”. (There’s that nerd thing again.)
-Song: Southern Gospel and anything Celtic/Scottish – whether instrumental or vocal.
-Book: The Message version of the Bible because it brings the Word alive; as well as historical fiction and mysteries.

What I see God up to at Southway: I believe God is getting us ready for a time of growth – growth within each of us as we walk more closely with the Lord; growth in the actual number of participants in worship; and growth in service to the church, one another and the community around us.
