SCC Series

The SCC Series is a sequential series of multi-week classes designed to help anyone, whether first-time guest or long-time member, to get to know who we are, what we believe, and how newcomers can connect with us.  Below is an overview of each part of the SCC Series.

Southway 1.0:

What kind of a church is Southway Community Church?  Southway 1.0 serves as an introduction to SCC.  Southway 1.0 will help folks  learn who we are, why we operate the way we do, and what it means to be a Bible church.

Southway 2.0:

Ever wonder what SCC teaches about _________?  Southway 2.0   is designed to introduce people to our core beliefs. In a simple and understandable way, our teachers will walk  through the SCC Doctrinal Statement and explain why we feel these core beliefs are absolutely essential to the Christian life.

Southway 3.0:

If there’s one thing a Christian’s walk must contain, it’s regular Bible reading and study.  Yet one of the hardest disciplines for a Christian to engage in is Bible reading.  Southway 3.0 is designed to help people  learn to study the Bible. With a focus towards the application of Scripture’s teachings in our lives, participants will be equipped for a deeper study of the Bible.

Southway 4.0:

God has given certain gifts to His people in order that the Church might be strengthened.  Southway 4.0 seeks to help people  discern their own spiritual gifts, and learn how those gifts can best be used to build up God’s Church.
